South Jakarta Administration is working extra hard in handling trash problem in Pasar Minggu. From this area alone, 101 tons of trashes are generated every day by the traders in Pasar Minggu.

“There are 101 tons of trash in Pasar Minggu depot every day,” said Head of Trash Control Section for South Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department, Wahyudi Rudianto, Monday (12/22).
As a result, the trashes which supposed to be picked up are still piling until morning. Most of those trashes are vegetables and fruits, thus they must be handled immediately before getting rotten.
